YOUR TREZOR JOURNEY STARTS HERE
A few simple steps are all that stand between you and a more confident way to manage your crypto. Let’s get your device ready.
Set up my deviceA GOOD PLACE TO BEGIN
Choose your device to see the right steps. Your setup happens on your device—not on this page.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Check that the packaging looks intact and your device has no signs of tampering. Then connect it directly to your computer or phone with the supplied USB cable.
Keep it direct. Avoid USB hubs and public computers during setup.
GET THE OFFICIAL APP
Download Trezor Suite from Trezor’s official website. Check the address carefully before downloading, and never install wallet software from an ad, message, or unknown link.
Go to the official Trezor Suite pageStay up to date. Suite will guide you through the official firmware installation if it’s needed.
FOLLOW YOUR DEVICE
Open Trezor Suite and follow the on-screen instructions to install or verify firmware and create a new wallet. Confirm important actions on your Trezor itself.
Pause if it looks pre-set-up. A new device should never arrive with a recovery sheet or pre-written recovery words.
YOUR MOST IMPORTANT BACKUP
Your Trezor will show recovery words on its own screen. Write them down in the exact order on the supplied backup card and store it somewhere private and secure.
Never type, photograph, or share your recovery words. No website, app, support agent, or person should ask you to enter them.
YOU’RE IN CONTROL
Your Trezor is set up. Keep Suite and your device firmware current, verify every address on the device screen, and keep your backup offline.
Explore the official Trezor Learn hubGood to know: Your device confirms transactions; it never needs your recovery words to receive funds.
KEEP YOUR RECOVERY WORDS SAFE
Your recovery words are the master key to your wallet. Trezor support will never ask for them.
Write them on your backup card. Don’t save them in a screenshot, cloud note, or password manager.
Check addresses and transaction details on your Trezor screen before confirming.
